A discussion started on a military forum I help moderate based on this picture:

Guy that posted it is a former Security Forces (Air Force Cop) guy and asked if it was a patrol vehicle. Some of you may know what it is just from the picture, but for those that don't:

The above video has a Camaro, but they have used everything from Mustangs:

There's three of the oldest types in USAF service in one shot, with the E-3 not far behind. All that's missing is a BUFF and a T-38 to complete the roster.

Enlisted U.S. Airman here, I've only been to 4 bases (including Basic training and Tech school). Across those bases I've seen everything from Impala's (most common) to the hideous new Escape. I'm currently in Alaska and the common one here is Ram 1500. There are a couple F250 Super Duty's thrown in as well. When in Idaho, it was mainly Impala's with a couple Malibu's as well. Mississippi had the Impala's as well but they also had some of the previous generation Escape's. I've personally never seen the GTO's or the G8's but I wouldn't doubt them being there.

You won't see the GTO/G8 as patrol vehicles. Those are strictly U-2 chase. Some bases should be getting the Caprice PPV.
